Alex, holding a model meteor, stands in a dimly lit office surrounded by computers. He grins wide, holding a pen in one hand, as he points to the screen. SAM, standing beside Alex, leans on a desk and nods. ROBIN, who’s looking at a laptop, scratches her head and smirks slightly.

ALEX: Alright team, let's get this cyber defense system up and running. We're ready to take down any rogue meteoric threats, but this one might be a little tricky.

Panel 2

Alex fiddles with the controls, his face serious but hopeful. He looks up at Sam and Robin. ROBIN (sarcastically) Alex nods, his optimism shining through despite the serious situation. SAM (dryly) ROBIN (jokingly)

ALEX: Ready to roll?

SAM: Critical blow” huh? You sure about this, Alex?

ROBIN: I'm just here to make sure you don’t waste my time.

SAM: We’ll just have to hope this “critical blow” isn’t as critical as it sounds.

ROBIN: At least we’ll be out of commission for several weeks. We can work on this in the downtime.

Panel 3

ALEX (cheerfully) SAM (deadpan) ROBIN (sarcastically)

ALEX: Well, at least we won’t be a threat during the hiatus. Let’s just hope our systems can handle it.

SAM: I’m sure they will. As long as we don’t lose power.

ROBIN: Because we’re a nonprofit that tracks meteors taken down by a cyberattack, of course.

Alex: Alex, Sam, and Robin laugh, despite the gravity of their situation.
